Community center hosts invitational exhibit; reception March 25

The Nevada Artists Association will present its invitational exhibit in the community center’s Crowell Board Room through July 10.

CCAI will host a reception for the artists on Monday, March 25 from 5-6:30 p.m. with artists’ introductions at 5:30 p.m. at the community center, 851 E. William St.

The painters with art in the exhibit include Walter Daniels, J. Renee Ekleberry, Howard Friedman, Mark Harris, Karen Kreyeski, Laura Lawrence, Christa McLaughlin, Colleen Reynolds, Anette Rink, Wayne Scarpaci, and Deborah Stevenson.

The photographers include Lula Adams, John Kallestad, John P. Lagios, Jim Markle, Bruce Nelson, Heather Nicole, Kim Hunter Steed, Andrew Strom and John Warden. Artists who used other media include Michelle Bowler, Pam Brekas, Catherine King, Kristina Lammers, and Sandra Swan.

The NAA Gallery is open Tuesday-Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. The organization presents membership shows as well as judged art shows, each running about six weeks. NAA hosts artists receptions for each judged exhibit.
