Fifth grade students at Numa Elementary School presented their final-quarter projects May 9 at the annual “Numaseum,” a unique event where individual work combines into a massive group project.
The Numaseum aims to bring history to life for the students and attendees.
Each student researches an historically significant personality, landmark or event and then creates a presentation that includes a tabletop display, speech and costume.
Similar to an actual museum, the portrayals are then sorted by subject within the various classrooms. Family, friends and the community were invited to stroll through and “push start” to listen to any of the creative and informative presentations.
