Pack football: Nevada gets nine national TV games

Nevada football fans can count on seeing the Wolf Pack on national television nine times in the upcoming 2024 season.

The Mountain West, with TV partners Fox and CBS, announced the conference’s broadcast schedule Thursday, with a total of 49 conference games set for national slots.

Nevada will appear on CBS Sports Network five times, a Fox network twice, and is scheduled for one game apiece on ESPN-Plus and the Big Ten Network. Four games on the Pack’s 13-game schedule do not yet have a television partner.

Among the highlights from Thursday’s announcement:

• Nevada’s season-opener against SMU (Aug. 24) will be shown on CBS Sports Network.

• The Pack’s road game at Minnesota (Sept. 14) will air on the Big Ten Network.

• The Nov. 2 home game against Colorado State was picked up by CBS Sports Network.

• The Fremont Cannon game, Nov. 30 at UNLV, is also in a CBS Sports Network slot.

Nevada is coming off consecutive 2-10 seasons and will take the field this season under first-year head coach Jeff Choate. The Wolf Pack’s upcoming fall camp dates are expected to be announced soon.
