REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS 

FUELS TREATMENT PROJECT 

The Alpine Fire Safe Council (AFSC) has received funding for fuels treatment in Eastern Alpine County and is requesting proposals for the Lower Washoe Fuels Reduction Project in Woodfords, CA.

The project consists of: 

• 44-48 acres of various brushes and manzanita overgrowth 

• Treatment prescription is 70%/30% 

• Machine mastication of brushes and manzanita 

• Work between Mon-Fri 7:30a-5p 

• Access roads to remain open and accessible during work hours 

• Contractor cleanup required 

• Total project budget $128,000 

• Project timeline max of 3 weeks 

Invitation to Bidders: Sat. June 1, 2024 

Bids Due: Mon. July 1, 2024 by 3:00pm
