You are hereby notified that the Carson City
Planning Commission will conduct public
hearings on Tuesday, November 19, 2024,
regarding the items noted below. The meeting
will commence at 5:00 PM. The meeting will
be held in the Carson City Community Center,
Robert “Bob” Crowell Board Room, 851 East
William Street, Carson City, Nevada.
LU-2024-0378 For Possible Action: Discussion
and possible action regarding an application
for a special use permit (“SUP”) to establish
a tattoo parlor on a property zoned Retail
Commercial (“RC”) located at 184 West
Winnie Lane, Assessor’s Parcel Number
(“APN”) 001-032-03. (Heather Manzo,

Staff Summary: Brooke Lee and Lacy Taylor
(“Applicant”) are proposing to establish
a tattoo parlor within an existing tenant
space. An SUP is required. The Planning
Commission is authorized to approve the SUP.
LU-2024-0395 For Possible Action:
Discussion and possible action regarding a
request for a special use permit (“SUP”) to
allow for the construction of a snow removal
equipment storage building on property
zoned Public Regional (“PR”), located at 3420
College Parkway, Assessor’s Parcel Number
(“APN”) 005-011-05. (Heather Manzo,

Staff Summary: An SUP for this project
was previously approved, however the SUP
expired on May 31, 2024 (LU-2023-0148).
The Carson City Airport (“Applicant”) is in the
process of moving forward with this project
and is proposing the construction of a 40-foot
by 80-foot snow removal equipment storage
building. Per Carson City Municipal Code
(“CCMC”) 18.04.185, a use may only be
established in the “PR” zoning district subject
to an SUP. The Planning Commission is
authorized to approve the SUP.
