Carson High student injured in pedestrian/car accident on Saliman Tuesday

The Carson City School District reported a Carson High School student was injured in a car accident in front of the high school that occurred at approximately 7:40 a.m. Tuesday.

According to a statement from Carson City School District Andrew Feuling, the student was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center. The statement from Feuling is as follows:

“The Carson City Sheriff’s Office confirmed a pedestrian/car accident involving a Carson High School student on North Saliman Road near the crosswalk at Mills Park. Law enforcement reported the injured student has been transported to Renown Regional Medical Center. District officials plead for drivers in the greater Carson City area to take extra caution in school zones, around bus stops and near crosswalks throughout the city.”
