Churchill County (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Golf Course Wastewater Treatment Facility Demolition and Removal
PWP CH-2024-066
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Office of Churchill County located at 270 S. Maine Street, Suite A, Fallon, NV 89406, until December 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Given the time constraints related to funding requirements, we encourage bidders to attend a pre-bid opening conference at 10:00 AM, prior to the bid opening at 11:00 AM. This meeting will take place at the designated location for bid submissions and will provide an opportunity to review the bid documents and ensure completeness.
The Project includes the following Work: The complete demolition and removal of the existing Wastewater Treatment Facility at the Churchill County Golf Course. The facility is currently non-operational and has been out of service for more than 15 years. The work generally includes removal of metal tanks, concrete foundations, concrete areas, piping material, electrical items, other wastewater appurtenances, salvage of metal building, generator and electrical service equipment and other work to bring the site to a finish grade for a future water treatment plant. All items to be removed and legally disposed of as outlined in the Improvement Plans.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
The Contract Documents can be reviewed and then purchased for $22.00 through Quest CDN. The link can be found on the Shaw Engineering website under “Bidding” at https://shawengineering.com.
Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on November 21, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Churchill County Public Works Conference Room, 270 S. Main St, Suite A, Fallon, NV 89406 and will include a site visit. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
Instructions to Bidders.
This project is being funded by the Nevada Water Conservation and Infrastructure Initiative Federal Award ALN 21.027 for all financial accounting, subawards, and associated program reporting requirements for the SLFRF awards. Recipient is not responsible for reporting to the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Sub Award Reporting System (FSRS) through FSRS.gov”
The Owner will only accept Bids from a Bidder who is registered and active on SAM.GOV and can provide an EUI Number and CAGE Code at the time the Bid is submitted. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
