Lee Hardin’s sold out comedy show last weekend was super exciting and we’re hoping we can offer the same kind of turnout for this weekend’s special guests Steve & Raena.

Also known as Wandering Songs, the singer-songwriter husband and wife acoustic duo have been traveling for two years, spreading joy with their melodies and interacting with audiences.

We’re thrilled and excited to have them back in Fallon.

Kicking off the weekend, we have Over the Hedge as our 6 p.m. movie on both Friday and Saturday. A scheming raccoon fools a mismatched family of forest creatures into helping him repay a debt of food by invading the new suburban sprawl that popped up while they were hibernating and learns a lesson about family himself.

This 2006 film is rated PG.

Also playing on Friday, we have Escape from Germany at 7 p.m., sponsored by Fallon Family Dental Care and RE/MAX.

In 1939, Hitler's army was closing borders and 85 American missionaries were in Germany serving their church. The escape of these missionaries from Nazi Germany is one of the most dramatic events to occur in modern church history. The movie is rated PG.

On Saturday night at 7 p.m., we’ll be welcoming Steve & Raena to our stage. Admission is $12 at the door and they have some very special guests accompanying them including our own local talent, Annabelle, as well as McKenzie James Warren and his brother Matt Warren with violin and cello.

This will be a fantastic night of music and we hope you’ll join us for the event.

December is bringing with it plenty of fun experiences and opportunities to make memories starting with the annual tradition of the Maine Street Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday the Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. Immediately following the lighting, we’ll have the Lahontan Valley Concert Choir on stage for a short round of carols and afterward we’ll be showing two films sponsored by Sierra Financial: Jack Frost (1979) and It’s a Wonderful Life.

The following weekend on Dec. 13-14, Bassham Furniture is sponsoring a very special Polar Express Weekend featuring three opportunities for a 4D experience with vibrations, scent, mist, confetti and more.

As always, the complimentary hot cocoa bar will be available and every child will receive a small gift. You can find more information on our website and through Facebook.

As always, if you would like to book a Marquee Message or reserve an auditorium for a party, please leave us a message at 775-423-6210.
