Two Carson City schools are closed Wednesday due to a power outage, according to a Carson City School District news release.
Bordewich Bray Elementary and Carson Middle School are closed, along with the district office and student support services, according to the release
“Due to high winds and increased fire risk, NV Energy has imposed a planned Power Outage at four school sites in Carson City,” the release said. “All employees and students who report to these specific school sites should remain home. No student activities, afterschool programs or practices will occur at only these schools. All other school sites will have power and the school day will remain unchanged.”
