The Douglas High School freshman volleyball team put up a flawless campaign this fall, posting a perfect 23-0 record with a 16-0 clip in league play.

Kaya Schultz led the team with 62 kills.

Payton Estes and Emily Shaw had the best hitting percentages on the squad, posting marks of 28 percent and 25 percent, respectively.

Kate Anhorn led the team with 63 aces while Hazel Kaur had a team-best 72 percent passing average.

Ashtyn Swartz and Anhorn led the Tigers with 103 assists each.

“They were an amazing team,” said head coach Caitlyn Costa. “We wouldn’t have had these stats without our amazing managers.”

Costa noted that Brooklyn Salmon, Zoe Jensen and Madi Gannon all moved on to the team at the end of the year.
