If you enjoyed our Show ‘N’ Shine, we have the perfect October car movie coming up you might enjoy.
Join us this Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. for “Christine,” rated R. This 1983 supernatural horror film is based on a novel by Stephen King and tells the story of a 1958 Plymouth Fury possessed by an evil spirit on a teenager-killing rampage.
On Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m., we’ll also be showing “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” rated PG. Jack Skellington, king of Halloween Town, accidentally discovers Christmas Town, but his attempts to bring Christmas to his home causes confusion.
Also, on Saturday at 3 p.m., the Churchill County Museum will be using our historic stage for their second annual Chautauqua Theatre program, "Nevada's Pioneering Spirits.”
This all-adult performance will have an admission of $25 at the door but tickets can be purchased through the museum at a reduced cost prior to the performance. They sold out last year and expect to again.
In the coming weeks, don’t miss our other fun October movies – “Hocus Pocus,” “The Lost Boys,” “Casper,” “Halloween,” and “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” plus the downtown Maine Street Spooktacular on Oct. 31 for tons of safe trick-or-treating.
Then in November we’ll have Lee Hardin on stage for live comedy on Nov. 15 and Steve & Raena performing live as well Nov. 23.
