Carson City Sheriff’s Office seeks ID in battery of disabled veteran

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is looking to identify the suspect in an Oct. 9 battery, according to a Friday afternoon news release.


On Oct. 9 a battery occurred involving an unknown suspect and an elderly, disabled veteran in the area of Carson and Bath streets, the release said. The suspect struck the victim with his own cane.

The suspect is a Hispanic male, approximately 30-40 years of age. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts and black shoes, the release said. The suspect is associated with a gray Nissan SUV.
