Carson City road report for October 28 to November 3, 2024

Road Report as of Oct. 24. The following information applies to the period of Oct. 28 – Nov. 3:

Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:  

• 2nd Street between Carson Street and Curry Street will be closed to westbound traffic through June 30 for construction.

• Bath Street between Nevada Street and Curry Street will be closed to thru traffic one day between Tuesday and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Curry Street between King Street and 2nd Street will be closed to traffic on Friday, from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• North Ormsby Boulevard between Newman Place and Washington Street will be closed until Nov. 8, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:  

• The intersection of Carmine Street and Lompa Lane will have flagger control from Tuesday to Thursday, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

• Center Drive near the intersection of Topsy Lane will be reduced to a single lane from until Nov. 26, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Cortez Street between Goshute Way and Philippi Street will have lane shifts on Wednesday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Hawthorne Court will have shoulder work on Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Lompa Lane between Sherman Lane and Carmine Street will have flagger control for southbound traffic from Tuesday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

• Roop Street between Little Lane and Oregon Street will have reduced southbound lanes from Oct. 28 through Nov. 7, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Topsy Lane near the Lyla Lane will be reduced to a single lane through Nov. 26, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
