The Golf Lodge formally opened on a windy Thursday, Aug. 22 showing the contrast between playing a round of golf on a simulator at a world-famous golf course in a warm, windless, and inviting atmosphere.

Carson Chamber members, family, friends, and dignitaries gathered for a brief ribbon cutting outside the city’s newest entertainment center.

Assemblyman PK O’Neill presented 26-year-old owner Alec Emmons, who recently moved here from his native Indiana, with a certificate of congratulations and then tried out his rusty golf putt at Pebble Beach.

Mayor Lori Bagwell and Chamber Chair Melanie Thomas presented certificates of congratulations.

The Golf Lodge features a full-service bar and a private meeting room/party room as well as the main room featuring three simulator bays where fans can follow the progress of their favorite local golfer while enjoying a cocktail.

In total, there are four Trackman iO simulators and four hitting bays to hone skills while playing over 330 courses.

The Golf Lodge is located at 4530 S. Carson St. Memberships are available. Check out the website https://www.thegolflodge.co/.
