Letter: Donald Trump

Honorable Mark Amodei,

In Donald Trump, our Republican candidate for president, we have a man who when he asks his supporters to vote for him proudly promises they will never have to vote again: a man who has declared that on day one he will pardon all those legally and fairly convicted (he calls them “patriots”) and jailed for participation in the riots of Jan. 6, 2021, an attempt to overthrow our government by force: a man who has declared that if he is not elected as president on Nov. 5 there will be a bloodbath: a man who believes that the laws of our country do not apply to him.

Do you not think it is time for you to denounce this monster publicly, and proclaim that you cannot and will not vote for Donald Trump?
