Don’t miss our 2024 Show ‘N’ Shine on Saturday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Several blocks of Maine Street will be closed for walking traffic only as we once again host this fantastic display of great looking vehicles. Not only will we have plenty of impressive full-scale models to admire, we’ll also have the NVRC Dustdevils joining us for a mini show and shine of their fantastic radio-controlled cars.

This event is free to the public, so plan on joining us for a fun family event in historical downtown Fallon.

The last weekend of September is approaching and here at the theatre we’re gearing up for a monstrous October full of frighteningly good times. We’ll be kicking off the month with a Monster Movie Weekend sponsored by Huck Salt that will feature the lobby dressed to the nines in fun decorations and providing plenty of photo ops for our attendees.

We’ll be showing “Monsters, Inc.” for our 6 p.m. film and “The Monster Squad” at 7 p.m. Plan to join us on Oct. 4-5.

Until then, we’re leaving September with two fun animated films. Kicking things off at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, we have the 2005 jungle adventure, “Madagascar,” rated PG. A group of animals who have spent all their entire lives in a New York zoo accidentally end up in the tropics and must adjust to living in the wild.

Playing at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, we have “Chicken Run,” a slapstick stop motion animation adventure starring the voice talents of Mel Gibson. A group of farm chickens try desperately to flee their evil owners by attempting to learn to fly. This movie is rated G.
