Carson City road report for September 30 to October 6, 2024

Road Report as of Sept. 26. The following information applies to the period of Sept. 30 – Oct. 6:

Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:  

• 2nd Street between Carson Street and Curry Street will be closed to westbound traffic through June 30, for construction.

• Sage Street between Hot Springs Road and Lone Mountain Drive will be closed to traffic from Tuesday – Thursday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:  

• Butti Way between Fairview Drive and the Carson City Public Works building will be reduced to a single lane from Monday – Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Center Drive near the intersection of Topsy Lane will be reduced to a single lane through Nov. 26 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• The intersection of Chateau Drive and Silver Sage Drive will have shoulder work from Monday – Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• College Parkway between Lompa Lane and Sherman Lane will be reduced to single lanes in both directions on Tuesday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• North Ormsby Boulevard between Newman Place and Washington Street will have reduced lanes through Oct.14, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Parkland Avenue between Osman Circle and Claudia Circle will be reduced to a single lane from Friday – Sunday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Topsy Lane near the Lyla Lane will be reduced to a single lane through Nov. 26, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
