Nevada’s 2025 football season is nearly set, with the Wolf Pack receiving its Mountain West schedule for the upcoming season on Thursday.

In head coach Jeff Choate's second season with the Pack, Nevada will play six home games as part of a schedule that returns to a 12-game format. The Wolf Pack was the only FBS team in the nation to play a 13-game regular-season schedule last year.

Among the highlights of Nevada’s 2025 slate:

• Nevada will open the season with its first-ever game at Penn State;

• The home opener is Sept. 7 against Sacramento State;

• The Mountain West opener is Oct. 4 at Fresno State;

• The Fremont Cannon game against UNLV remains in its traditional season-ending spot.

Kickoff times and broadcast information will be announced on future dates.

The Mountain West revealed the conference schedules for all 12 of its football-playing members on Thursday. The conference is returning to an eight-game format after experimenting with a seven-game league slate last season as part of a scheduling agreement with the Pac-12’s Oregon State and Washington State.
