Carson High School is proud to shine the spotlight on senior Elayna Quintero, a true example of academic excellence, athletic dedication and strong leadership. With a 3.94 grade point average and the successful completion of 11 honors and Advanced Placement courses, Quintero consistently has challenged herself in the classroom. As a Career and Technical Education completer in the Engineering pathway, she has focused heavily on civil engineering, laying a solid foundation for her future academic and career goals.
Outside the classroom, Quintero is a star athlete on the CHS girls’ soccer team, where she has not only excelled on the field as a centerback but also served as a co-captain this season. Her leadership, athleticism and commitment to her team have earned her the incredible opportunity to play Division II soccer as an outside back at the Academy of Arts University in San Francisco. This next step not only allows her to continue her athletic career but also supports her passion for architecture, blending her love for sports with her academic interests.
Quintero’s success is rooted in her strong sense of loyalty and connection to her family and friends. As the middle daughter of three girls, she has always found inspiration and support in her family — her older sister currently attends the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and her younger sister is in middle school. Known for her kindness, her ability to listen and her role as a positive influence, Quintero is especially passionate about encouraging young women to pursue opportunities in math and science.
With her determination, compassion and leadership, Elayna Quintero leaves a lasting impact at Carson High School.
