NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a
hearing will be held in the Churchill County
Administrative Complex, 155 North Taylor
Street, County Commission Chambers, Fallon,
Nevada, meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, March 12, 2025, the Churchill
County Planning Commission will hold a public
hearing on the request below.
Consideration and possible action re: A zone
change application filed by Rich McCartney of
Fallon Livestock Processing. The property is
located at 2150 Mount View Drive, Assessor’s
Parcel Number 008-811-06, consisting of 1.09
acres in the E-1 zoning district. The applicant
is requesting to change the zoning of the
parcel from E-1 to C-1 or C-2 zoning for a
retail butcher shop.
If you cannot attend the Planning Commission
meeting, written comments may be submitted
to the Public Works, Planning & Building
Department, 270 S Maine Street, Suite A,
Fallon, NV 89406, before 4:30 p.m., March
11, 2025. A copy of the application is on file
and available for public inspection at the
Churchill County Public Works, Planning
& Building Department. We will also post a
scanned copy of the application on March 6,
2025 with the Planning Commission agenda
on our web page at www.churchillcountynv.
gov under Agendas & Minutes for the March
12, 2025 meeting. The Planning Commission
will make a recommendation to the Board of
County Commissioners, who will make a final
decision.
