Carson High School is proud to spotlight Ricardo Plascencia-Flores, a senior who has consistently shown dedication to both his academics and extracurricular activity during the past four years. With a 4.38 weighted grade point average, Ricardo has taken on three Advanced Placement courses and 12 Honors classes, earning an advanced diploma and the Bi-literacy Seal. His academic drive has helped him stand out as one of Carson High's top students.
Beyond the classroom, Plascencia-Flores also has been a committed athlete. He played varsity soccer during his junior and senior years, balancing sports and school with a level of focus and discipline that has made him a respected figure among his teammates and peers.
He is known for his kind, soft-spoken nature. While he might not be the loudest voice in the room, his actions and work ethic speak volumes. He is someone others look to for guidance and inspiration, both for his accomplishments and his respectful attitude.
As graduation approaches, Plascencia-Flores is considering two strong options for his future: either the University of Nevada, Reno or the University of California, Berkeley. He plans to pursue a degree in engineering, aiming to build a career where he can make a meaningful impact.
