Bayou Bites celebrated its grand opening Feb. 22 with a Fallon Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Owned by father/daughter team Jeremy and Lyric Morrow, the southern-inspired eatery features po’boy sandwiches with a monthly special, meal baskets, Cajun poutine and lemon beignets. Main menu options include chicken, shrimp, catfish, Adouille sausage, vegan or fried green tomatoes. The Morrows also note that their food is prepared using two separate fryers to accommodate customers with shellfish allergies.

Adding another option to the food available inside The Grid Market & Brewery at 2030 Reno Highway, Bayou Bites is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
