The Nevada Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help in locating a witness to a March 10 car crash in Dayton.


“On March 10, 2025, at approximately 6:42 a.m., the Nevada Highway Patrol, a division of the Nevada State Police, responded to an injury crash on US50 at Pine Cone Road in Dayton (located near the Smith’s Fuel Center),” according to a news release from NHP. “The Nevada Highway Patrol Traffic Homicide Unit is requesting assistance in locating and speaking with an individual that assisted after the crash occurred. This individual may be able to provide crucial information to investigators.”


NHP described the individual as a blonde female adult with glasses that was wearing blue scrubs and assisted the driver of a Honda truck.
