As Nevada celebrates its 160th birthday of becoming the 36th state what could be more patriotic than having members of the United States Air Force Mobility Rock Band a part of the Nevada Day Parade, later performing about 3:30 pm at McFadden Plaza following the annual beard contest. This is the third year the rock band has performed declaring being a part of the Nevada Day festivities as one of their favorite venues. As #87 in the parade line-up, the band will be performing on the flatbed and truck generously provided by Miles Construction. They are sharing the float with the Navy Fleet Reserve.
