Desi Rene Navarro
Desi Rene Navarro was called home on Wednesday, March 3rd, in Reno, Nevada at the age of 45. Born in Sun Valley, California, Desi was raised in Carson City, Nevada, and graduated from Carson High School in 1994.
During his time at Carson High Desi was a stand-out basketball player, played football and ran track. He held close to his heart the lifelong friendships that were created at CHS. Desi resided in Carson City and was an adored and respected youth and high school coach and sports volunteer. Desi worked for the City of Carson as an IT Systems Specialist for the past 6 years and took great pride in brightening everyone’s day with his warm smile.
Married to his soulmate, Tammy, for over 20 years, Desi was a devoted husband and beloved father to Riley (18) and Masyn (16). Desi beamed with love and pride for his family and every goal and accomplishment his children met.

Desi is survived by Tammy, Riley, Masyn, his grandmother Helen, his father and mother, David and Gloria, his mother-in-law Ruth, his eldest brother David and wife Adrienne, Godchildren Kyle and Travis, younger brother Dominic and nephew Jackson, aunts and uncles, extended family, lifelong friends, and his beloved Carson City community.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends is planned for May 30 from 1pm-4pm at 1021 Country Lane, Gardnerville, NV 89460. A Facebook page will be established for family and friends to share memories and photos.
