Molly Fuhrman Smith
July 2, 1927 - March 30, 2021
Molly Fuhrman Smith, a long time Fallon resident went to be with the lord at her home surrounded with lodes ones and loved friends on March 30, 2021. Molly was born in Lodi, California on July 2, 1927, to Samuel and Gladys Fuhrman. She her husband and children moved to Fallon in 1965.
Molly worked as an assistant manager at the Churchill County Assessors office for 17 years. After her retirement she and her husband Bob started a chapter of Full Gospel Businessmen. They traveled around western states to attend other chapter meeting’s until Bob’s passing in 2001. After that she became really involved in her church, the Christian Life Center. Molly had lots of friends from her Christian life and from her many years in Fallon. She loved meeting with her friends for lunches and playing cards.
Molly is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Robert E. Smith Sr, her parents, sister Beverly Berg and brothers Albert Fuhrman and Samuel Fuhrman, grandson Todd Smith and granddaughter, Shasta Kelley.
Molly is survived by her sons Robert E. (Debbie) Smith Jr., Gerald (Sandy) Smith, daughter, Kelli Kelley. Sister, Dorothy Vlavianos, Stockton, California, sister -in-law, Evelyn Smith, Eureka, California, grandchildren, Merria (Kevin) Cahalan, Wes Smith, Marcia (Jeremy) Evans, Jessica (James) Walker, Miles Kelly, 8 great grandchildren and 5 great - great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Molly’s life will be Held Saturday April 17, 2021 at 1pm The Gardens Funeral Home.
