Gwen Marsh

Gwen Marsh (83) of Gardnerville passed away in her home surrounded by family on Sunday, August 1, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.
Born Gwendolyn June McCann on December 30, 1937 in Lomita, CA, she married her high school sweetheart, Daniel Marsh on June 14, 1956. They were married for 65 years and had 3 children, 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; all from Nevada and Texas. She was so proud of her family.
Gwen was active in many different organizations, including the Douglas County Republican Women Club and loved hosting parties at her home in Gardnerville for candidates, also hosting the kickoff to summer parties for family, and friends.
Gwen is survived by her husband Dan Marsh (84) of Gardnerville; son Steve Marsh of Gardnerville and daughter Mindy (Tom) Schuler of Gardnerville. She is also survived by her sister Susan (Richard) Grosch of Gardnerville. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Laura (David) Villalobos of Baytown, Texas in 2014.
