On December 3rd 2020 Judy succumbed to complications of COVID-19 and passed into the next dimension. She was born in San Jose on August 28, 1960. She grew up in Gardnerville NV and attended Douglas High School. Judy raised and trained guide dogs for many years. She was a devoted Oakland Raider fan. Judy loved the outdoors and was an avid and skilled fisherwoman, often patiently teaching her skills to anyone who wanted to learn. Judy also enjoyed gardening, travel and any kind of adventure, even learning to alpine ski at the age of 40.Judy worked for more than 20 years for Wykle Research in Carson City before starting a senior home care company with her partner.Judy is survived by her loving partner of 20 years, her daughters Naomi (Curtis) Gaster, Denise (Carlos) Lopez, grandchildren Ivie, Mason, Lilly, Ally and Jackson, sister Linda (Steve) White, and brothers Shaun and Bill.A celebration of life will be held this summer at Horseshoe Bend on the Carson River, Judy’s favorite fishing spot.
