Gerald D. Etchison
March 10, 1952 - February 7, 2021
Gerald D. Etchison, 68, died Sunday, February 7, 2021, at
his home in Carson City, NV.
Gerald was born March 10, 1952, to Gerald D. Etchison,
Sr. and Hazel Marie Chappell. He grew up in Douglas
County, on Johnson Lane and attended schools in
Gardnerville. He joined the Navy at 18 and after his
service he was honorably discharged but remained a
patriot his whole life. His work was construction where he
was a contractor and Superintendent on all of his projects.
He enjoyed football, fishing, poker and his family. He
loved going to Bucks Lake and spending the day on the
pontoon boat fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 32 ½ years, Dona Etchison,
his daughters Jenn Fritzler (Jay) and Heather Etchison,
siblings Billy (Rose) Etchison, Scott Etchison, Dawn
Etchison and Lynn Etchison, and our cherished Niece and
Nephew, Stephanie and Peter Sadabsang who we could
not have gotten through this without, and our Grand Niece
and Nephew, Sage and Peter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald D.
Etchison, Sr. and his adopted Mom, Marolyn Adams, and
his brother in law, Robert Adams.
Per his request, no services will be held.
