In loving memory of Harold Lawrence Richardson who
passed at 3:16am on February 12, 2021. Hal was born
on July 18, 1929 in Oakland, California. Graduated
Campbell Union High School class of 1948 and Air
Force 1951-1955 stationed in St. John’s Newfoundland
where he met the love of his life and wife of 60+ years,
Gwendolyn Murphy. Hal is survived by three of his four
children, 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He was active in quite a few organizations in Carson
City including Sheriff’s Aero Squadron (Deputy), Civil
Air Patrol (past Commander), Sagebrush and Mountain
Quail Model A Ford Clubs and Road Runners RV (at
91 years young, he was still driving his 36’ motorhome
to events). He retired after 30+ years in the water
purification business. Hal will be remembered for
his great sense of humor and kind heart. He would
selflessly help others while encouraging them to pay it
forward by doing the same. He supported the American
Cancer Society therefore any donations in his name are
appreciated. A celebration of life is yet to be determined.
