Dorothy Dodson

Dorothy Margaret Topken Dodson joined this world on November 18, 1926. Born to Arthur Henry Topken and Flora Mabel Chase Topken, in Huntington Park, Ca. Went to be with her loved ones above on April 28, 2021.
Married the cowboy love of her life, John Allen Dodson, on December 13, 1949. Dorothy became a school teacher and taught for 42 years, with the last 30 years being in Fallon, Nevada.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan Hiibel; son, Butch (Kristie) Dodson; nephew-son, Willie (Laurel) Topken. Grandsons, Bruce (Kim) Hill; Ryan Hiibel; and Allen (Jamie) Dodson. Great- grandchildren, Jared; Haylee and Hunter, Orrin and great- great- grandson, Ryker, and many nieces, nephew and greats.
Preceded in death husband, John; daughter, Dorothy Demiras; son, Robert; grandson, Randy; granddaughter, Mandie Hill; son-in-law, Sam Hiibel; siblings Bill, Arthur, Carl, and June.
She may well be most remembered as a teacher, and her love of rodeo, horses, and dogs. She gave these passions her all. Her dedication and support of her family is her legacy and was the main focus of her life. Her life was eventful and fulfilling for 94 ½ years.
