Kathleen Beatrice Wilson was born on July 24, 1937 and passed on November 29, 2021 at the age of 84yrs old. She graduated from Reno High School in 1956.
She is survived by her son Robert and John, grandchildren Cole, Ariana, Noah, Aidan and Reagan Wilson.
Kathleen was loved by everyone who met her. She loved to sing, draw, paint and use her god given artistic talent to make cards she gave out year-round. She was fearless, strong and an inspiration to everyone who had the great privilege of meeting her.
Kathleen lived a wonderful life filled with joy, selflessness and love for all she met. She loved teaching people about how much Jesus loved them in CCD classes at St. Theresa’s in Carson City, our Lady of the Snows and Little Flower in Reno, Nevada.
She was a two -time stage four cancer survivor, but always managed to do good for others amidst her struggles. She moved to Kauai, HI with Robert her son and his family in 2012. She became a parishioner at St. Raphael Catholic Church, member of the Filipino Catholic Club, a regular at the Loloa neighborhood center and made many friends wherever she went. She often shared her stories, which gave many cancer patients hope and strength She always gave more than she had and was more than happy to do so.
She moved back with her family to Reno, Nevada in 2018. Kathleen joined her mother and sister in heaven November 19, 2021. Her family continues to carry on her memory and her dedication to help the less fortunate.
A Rosary will be held in her honor on Tuesday November 30th, 2021. At 4:30pm in the chapel behind St Rose of Lima, Catholic Church in Reno, Nevada.
A mass will then be held at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Reno, Nevada on December 1st, 2021 at 11am. All are welcome to join us in celebrating Kathleen’s extraordinary life.
