Bob Kawcak
March 21, 1939 - August 25, 2021
Peter Robert (Bob) Kawcak, a long-term resident of Gardnerville, Nevada died of natural causes on August 25, 2021, at the age of 82.
Bob is survived by his three children, Dan Kawcak wife, Shannon), Colleen Kawcak and Tim Kawcak (wife, Debra), and 5 grandchildren (Tisha, T’Nay, Teonna, Alexis and Kayla), and 7 great grandchildren (Haley, Kyler, Trace, Brevinh, Mekhai, Daxton, and June), two brothers, Ivan and Danny Kawcak of Craig, Colorado, and an abundance of nieces and nephews.
Bob was born in Craig, Colorado in Moffett County on March 21, 1939, to Panko and Julia Kawcak on a homestead ranch. Bob was the second youngest of 16 siblings, including 8 brothers and 7 sisters.
As a life-long rancher, his assiduous work ethic developed into a respected contractor who took great pride in his masonry work and self-built business. He was a devoted father, and loyal friend. Bob’s tenacious bull riding and avid skiing were just a few of his many adventures.
Bob tirelessly served in his community in various Rotary, Elk, Ski, and Nut Clubs and his unwavering faith as a member in his Catholic parish. Bob will be missed by all the many lives he touched.
