On Monday, August 22, 2022, Bill Cook, caring husband and father of three children passed away at age 66. Bill was born William Arthur Cook, Jr. on July 4, 1956 in Weed, CA to Bill Cook, Sr. and Christine Cook. As a young man, Bill found a passion and community in competitive motocross racing that persisted throughout his life. Bill loved the outdoors, cycling, skiing, spending time with his family, exploring new places and meeting new people. He was an accomplished finish carpenter who found fulfillment and joy in his craft, viewing it as a creative outlet and not simply a profession.
On August 22, 1981, he married Elizabeth Sprague. They raised two sons, Christopher and Bryan, and one daughter, Bailey. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend who made an impact on everyone he spent time with. When he wasn’t planning his next trip to Hawaii with his family, tinkering around in his garage with a restoration project or taking a trip down memory lane on his iPad, he was spending quality time with his young grandson, Brady. Bill lived life to fullest and poured his heart and soul into everything he did—he loved and was loved by many.
Bill was preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his wife Beth, brother Randy, and three children, Christopher, Bailey, and Bryan, as well as several nephews, nieces and cousins and a grandson. Details for a celebration of life are forthcoming.
