Travis was born December 14, 1968. He died on May 15, 2022. He moved to Carson City, Nevada from Bishop California when he was four years old. He loved all the outdoor activities Nevada and the Sierra Mountains has to offer. He was a skilled and talented young man who could build, grow, and fix anything. He was an avid student of nature and outdoor survival skills.
At age 19 he fearlessly left Nevada to explore Alaska. He married and raised a family while living off the land in the Alaska bush. He and his wife Teresa eventually moved to Homer Alaska where they owned and operated a charter fishing service and bought a home high on a hill overlooking the beautiful Kachemak Bay.
He is survived by his mother Joyce Duncan Hinton of Carson City, father Steve Wilson and and his wife Carolyn Wray of Reno, his sons River Wilson, Dustin Moffet, Brandon Moffet, and Daughter Cherise Milovich.
A celebration of life for Travis Wilson, will be held on Sunday June 19, 2022 at Davis Creek Regional Park (Reserved Picnic Area) 11:00 A.M.
