Austin Thomas Rice
February 6, 1977 - May 16, 2022
Austin Thomas Rice, born on February 6, 1977, lived
45 years before fulfilling his life. Austin passed on May
16, 2022, leaving a void in our hearts that can never be
filled, and memories that will make us smile forever.
Austin loved to ride his motorcycle, and lived his life
knowing that four wheels move the body, but two
wheels move the soul.
Austin will be missed by his Aunts, Uncles and many
cousins. He will be missed dearly his brother Brandon
Nugent (Darcy, children Amelia, Jack), his brother,
Kevin Rice (Mandi) His sister, Jenny McQuain (Michael,
children Makenna, Travis), His Grandma, Faye Lerg,
affectionately and forever know by the family as “Gra”,
will miss Austin. Austin’s Mom, Sally Cardinal (Michael),
will miss her son dearly.
Our family believes in Heaven, and that is where Austin
is reunited with his Uncle Danny Lerg, Uncle Bruce Rice,
his Grandpa, Dan “Pa” Lerg, and his Father, George
Rice, whom Austin lost in the line of duty as a young boy.
Take him home, George. The Lord has you all now.
