Carol Stiltz

Carol Stiltz passed away on July 29, 2023, at the age of 86 at her home in Gardnerville, Nevada.
She was born in San Francisco, California in 1936.
Carol lived the first half of her life in the Bay Area where she was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend. In her early years she was a registered nurse in San Jose & Gilroy caring for children and the elderly. Her dedication and passion for her profession was only overshadowed by her love for her family and cooking for her family and friends.
Carol and her husband Adrian retired to Gardnerville in 1989 where they enjoyed life with their 4 children, 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years Adrian, her daughter Kelly Holt & husband Brad of Minden, her son Ron and wife Cindy of Morgan Hill, CA, daughter Gina Huppe and husband Chris of Loomis, CA and son James and wife Stacey of Gardnerville.
A funeral service will be held at St. Galls Catholic Church in Gardnerville on Monday, August 7th at 11:00 am with a gravesite burial following at Gardnerville Cemetery.
There will be a viewing at Walton’s Funeral Home in Gardnerville before the service from 8:30 am – 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, please consider one of Carol’s favorite charities, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
