John Thomas Lewandowski
John, 63 passed peacefully in his sleep August 10, 2023.
He was well established in the community and will truly be missed by those that knew him. God bless you, John.
John was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Therese (Quirk) Lewandowski.
John is survived by 3 brothers, Mike, Tom & Jim and 5 sisters: Mary Clements, Cathy Smith, JoAnne White, Jean McGuire, and Patty Skor. His numerous nieces and nephews will miss him.
John was born in Chicago, IL and raised in the San Fernando Valley, CA. He eventually followed family moving to Northern NV choosing to make Carson City his home since the early 1990’s. John was superintendent for several CA and NV Construction Companies and loved what he did. He suffered from some health issues that began to limit his construction responsibilities. He kept himself busy working at Carson City Senior Citizens Center when he could. He loved spending time with the elderly and delivered Meals on Wheels to the less fortunate.
For several years, John assisted his longtime friend who suffered from dementia.
John ashes will be buried at Genoa Cemetery
in beautiful Carson Valley, NV.
