David Ervin Buskee

David E. Buskee passed away Thursday May 11, 2023, after reaching the age of 86 years old this past January. He passed away peacefully at his home with his loved ones by his side.
David was born on January 23, 1937, in Dodgeville, Wisconsin to Ervin Buskee and Kathryn (Harris) Buskee.
He is preceded in death by his father Ervin Buskee and his mother Kathryn (Harris) Buskee and his siblings; Jack Buskee, Dale Buskee, and James Buskee.
He is survived by wife Lori Buskee and his children; Linda (Buskee) Reger, Wayne Oakley, Joe Buskee, John Buskee, and Sandy (Buskee) Harris and his grandchildren; Kyle Reger, Zackary Buskee, David Harris III, Justin Buskee, Samantha Harris.
He was known as Grandpa Buskee/Skinny Grandpa by his grandchildren, also his CB handle was Loader One while his friends and people around town knew him as the man with the yellow hat. He was a great father and
grandfather. David loved gambling, going fishing, and prospecting for gold in the surrounding areas. He left a lasting impression on all the lives that he came in contact with, and he will be forever loved and missed.
