John W. Brown, born October 9, 2006, in Modesto, California, passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 18.
Known for his adventurous spirit, boundless energy, and warm heart, John touched the lives of all who knew him. His outgoing personality made him a friend to everyone he met. John had a love for life and was dedicated to his family and friends.
His favorite color was purple, which matched his unique and vibrant personality. He had a special connection with his mother, Ashley Buckner, who loved him deeply. John is survived by his grandparents, Lisa and Troy Owen, his Uncle Zach, great-grandparents, Sid and Vicki Owen, and cousins, Andrew, Addison, and Ava Buckner.
He is preceded in death by his
Uncle Brandon and Aunt Kristi.
John’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His adventurous spirit, kindness, and the warmth of his presence will never be forgotten.
A celebration of John’s life will be held at Crossroads Church on December 14, 2024, at noon. In honor of John’s favorite color, we invite all who attend to wear purple. However, if you don’t have purple attire, please don’t hesitate to join us - your presence means the world to us.
