Larry L. Scott
August 8, 1948 - June 17, 2024
It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of my beloved husband, Larry L. Scott on June 17, 2024, at the age of 75. He was surrounded by his wife and sons at the time of his passing in Reno, Nevada. Larry was born on August 8, 1948, in Riverton, Wyoming, to Helen
and Clyde Scott. After graduating high school in 1966, Larry relocated to Carson City, Nevada, and then joined the Air Force in 1967. Following his time in the Air Force, he returned to Carson City where he began his career with the Nevada Department of Taxation and retired in December of 1999, as the Chief of Revenue. Larry was an avid sports fan, extremely witty, fun-loving, kind and generous. He is survived by his wife Jeanne, his sons Christopher, Michael and Rob, and his grandchildren,Emma, Rylenn, Jason, and Beckett.
