Debra Gardia
November 23, 1953 - March 19, 2024
Debra Gardia born November 23, 1953, a Minden, NV resident passed away on March 19th, 2024. She and her soulmate, Tom Gardia, who preceded her in death, raised a loving blended family. She is survived by her mother Dottie Pritchard, her sister Joyce Rios and brother-in-law Mark Rios, her 7 children: Rita Tracy, James Hatch, Brian Hatch, Rhiann Hatch, Mike Gardia, Lesley Gardia, and Jolene Gardia; her 10 grandchildren: Jade Shields, Melissa Tracy, Gavin Hatch, Jordyn Hatch, Camryn Hatch, Vincent Jefferson, Lucas Tracy, Kaelynn Gardia, Bryce Gardia and Ryland Hopkins. She was preceded in death by her father Benjamin Pritchard, and her two brothers Daniel Pritchard and Joe Hagan. She spent her 20-year career as a psychiatric technician in Camarillo and Napa, CA psychiatric hospitals. In her retirement she worked as a ski instructor for kids at Heavenly Ski Resort and she volunteered for the Food Bank and the Nevada Democrats. She was the life of every party and cooked a mean Chile Verde. She is deeply missed by all who knew her and remembered lovingly.
A celebration of life will be held on June 29th at Johnson Lane Park in Minden, NV.
