Lois Pearcy

Lois Pearcy was born in Redondo Beach, CA, to Walter F. and Avanel Pearcy.

She graduated from Van Nuys High School in 1959 and began her professional journey at Litton Corporation, where she dedicated many years of service. Lois also ventured into entrepreneurship as a big rig truck owner-operator and later established and ran a successful
print shop in Fallon for several years.

In the 1980’s, Lois found love and companionship with Mark Matthews, and together they crafted a life in a log cabin they built with their own hands in Spokane, WA. They eventually settled on 20 acres near Lahontan Reservoir until Mark’s passing in 2005.

Throughout her life, Lois was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous, achieving a remarkable 47 years of sobriety. She dedicated herself to helping others in their journey to recovery, alongside her partner John.

Lois leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience.

She is survived by her devoted partner John, her daughter Michele and son-in-law and Shane Reeder, her granddaughter Sara Holman, her son Alex Riddle, her granddaughter and grandson Kathy and August, her son Jim Riddle, and her granddaughters Alexa, Lillian,
and grandson Hunter.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and brother Raymond.

Remembrance service to be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 10am to 2pm at Lahontan State Recreation area, Churchill Beach Day Use area. Barbeque provided side dishes welcome.
