A loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. We remember Jesse Lerma Pimental for the life of hard work, strength, love, and laughter he created. He loved cooking, and his food was even more loved by all of those who ate at his table.
Jesse was born and raised in Los Angeles, California on January 23rd, 1941. Jesse met his wife Susana at San Fernando Valley High in 1955. Susan let her sweet tooth get the best of her, and stole the center of his cinnamon roll every morning. Little did she know she was stealing his heart, and he became sweet on her. They later married in 1961 in Pacoima, California and went on to have 3 wonderful children. Jesse was a meat cutter and a jack of all trades with many skills and talents. Whether it was family, work, golf, riding dirt bikes, or fishing on the lake he always put his best foot forward. To all who knew him, he was a stand-up guy, a provider, and a deep well of knowledge. You could always find him reading or sharing one of his many fun facts with others. The man knew everything!!
Jesse was surrounded by loved ones as he made his journey to his heavenly home at age 83. He is preceded in death by his sister Willie, and brothers Joe, Victor, Richard, Adolph, and brother-in-law Rudy.
He is survived by his loving wife Susan, daughter Lisa, sons Jesse and Lawrence, granddaughters Kahlia, Kiahna, Marisa, Brianne, Alyssa, Selena, Jaelyn, grandsons Tre, Gino, Jacob, Jeremy, great granddaughters Ella, Cataleya, & sisters Sylvia, Norma, Helen, Delia, Esther and brother Tony, as well as numerous loving relatives.
