Don Bartholomew
It is with great sadness that the friends of Donald Bruce Bartholomew announce that he passed away on September 16, 2024, in Minden, Nevada.
Don died doing what he loved the most – flying his Globe Swift airplane.
Don was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Ada-Naomi, and by his older sister Sharon.
Don was a cherished member of the community of Douglas County, Nevada. His contributions of service to the aviation, vintage motorcycle, trucking, and Search and Rescue communities will not be forgotten.
Don will be remembered for so many of his positive attributes: engineer, designer, mechanic, teacher, and philosopher.
Undoubtedly, our greatest memory of Don will be that he was a sincere and dear friend.

A “Celebration of Life” for Don will be held on Saturday, November 23, beginning at 5 PM at “The Grill Next Door” restaurant (located next to the Gardnerville Post Office). All are welcome.
