Charles (Chuck) Leon King, 84, passed away on October 15, 2024, in Carson City, Nevada. Born March 25, 1940, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Chuck dedicated his life to his family and community, enriching the lives of those around him with his loyalty, love and sociability.
Chuck proudly served in the Army for three years where he developed a discipline and camaraderie that he carried throughout his life. After his military service, he embarked on a successful career in the automotive industry, starting as a mechanic and eventually rising to the position of Service Manager. He also cherished his time as a bartender where he could indulge in his love for social interaction.
A family man at heart, Chuck was a devoted husband to Joyce and a loving father to his children, Bob, Richard and Deana. He also shared a special bond with his younger brother Jim. Chuck is survived by his Grandchildren; Hailey, Stephanie, Ray, Chandler, Mason, and Matthew, and Great Grandchildren; Liam and Lennon.
His passion for the outdoors was evident in his favorite activities which included camping with the family, fishing with Joyce, and golfing. You could also find him marshaling at one of the local golf courses with a smile on his face.
A private family celebration of life will be held in November to honor Chuck’s remarkable journey and legacy. He will be truly missed and remembered for his vibrant spirit, dedication to his loved ones, and his ability to make every moment count.
