Rory William Torvik
1990 - 2024
On a beautiful fall day in the early morning hour a loving, kind and beautiful young man left this earth way too soon. Rory William Torvik 1990-2024, son, brother, grandson, friend. He was a 4th generation Nevadan and a Comstock kid who attended school in Virginia City till the 8th grade and graduated from Dayton High in 2008. He was a cook, landscaper, firefighter and after getting his CDL, a truck driver. He was a proud member of the motorcycle club Solidified.
He is survived by his mother, Christie Torvik, father David King, brother Elliot King, Grandmother Jeanie King, G-ma Linda Marrone and his fiancé Christina Fabrizio, aunts, uncles and cousins. A Gathering of family and friends will be held at the Silver City Schoolhouse, October 12th 2 – 4 PM.
