Ronald Dean Trapp
June 24, 1940 - August 13, 2024
Ron succumbed to cancer at home in the company of his wife Norah McCoy (Nonie, pictured with him above) and his three daughters Sherry, Shawnell and Kally.
Ron was born in Texas to Leonard and Laverne Trapp and later grew up in Colorado, learning the art of dirt moving and eventually becoming a successful heavy equipment owner-operator. Ron loved his work, but he loved the Dallas Cowboys even more.
Ron and Nonie had been married 27 years when he died. He was previously married to Elaine King, the mother of his three daughters. That marriage ended in divorce. Ron is survived by Nonie, his daughters, stepsons Mac and J and numerous grandchildren and great grands.
