On Saturday, September 7, 2024, Caroline Moore passed away at her home at the age of 69.
Born in San Francisco, the daughter of a sailor, Caroline traveled from naval base to naval base – east coast to west coast. In October 1970, at the age of 16, her family (Mom, Dad and four sisters) moved to the Fallon Naval Air Station. She established roots and made Fallon her home.
She graduated from Churchill County High School, worked until her retirement and along with her loving husband, Steve, raised their daughter Sarah.
Caroline loved time with family and friends, early morning walks with her beloved dog, Gus, a good cup of hot coffee with a good read (books, magazines and the local newspapers), good food – made at home by her, barbecued by Steve and dining out. Vacations would find her back to the ocean with loved ones.
If a birthday, holiday or special occasion was coming up, you knew that there would be a card in the mail from Caroline.
She is survived by her husband, Steve and daughter Sarah plus a large multi-generational family that loves her and misses her greatly.
