Dena Marie Hug
July 8, 1960 - September 28, 2024
Dena was born July 8th in Collin County Texas. She passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving husband, Karl, son Larry and other family members as well as her devoted sidekick, her dog Itty.
She was proud of being a Texan and was a true-blue Dallas Cowboys fan. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.
She is survived by her husband, son, daughter-in-law, Julieann, six sisters, one brother, nine grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her only daughter, Candice (Candy), Marie Roberts, and her mother's Barbara Best, Evelyn Saey, and sister Joyce Kane.
She was a food and beverage manager at places in Northern Nevada, including Eagle Valley Golf. She re-invented herself and studied for her insurance license and worked as an agent for Allstate Insurance Agencies in Carson and Reno, ending her career when she moved to Washington state in 2014 with her husband.
Dena loved her family, friends, clients and customers, and she will be missed by all of us and will be forever in our hearts.
